When I look at my abstract photography, (you can see them on Instagram here ) I sometimes see faces or objects inside the images. Of course, this is just a case of pareidolia but it makes the photos more fun for me to look at. The other night, I decided to have even more fun with that idea and wrote a poem based on what I thought the image looked like. I am proud to announce that my poem “Kaleidoscope” has been included in this years poetry anthology by the Surrey Poet Laureateship, titled “Surrey Poetry 2025”.   I am very proud of this, as it is the first time one of my more serious poems has been published. I have published a poetry book, co-authored by my wife, called “The Sillyverse”.  There is still quite a whimsical feeling to Kaleidoscope but it doesn’t have the silliness or jokes, as a lot of my other poems are fill
